Nyanday Oti

Hello! I am Nyanday Oti
Bilingual Therapist Intern

I am a clinical mental health counseling graduate intern from Albany University who is passionate about making meaningful changes in people’s lives. I hold a Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with emphasis on crisis counseling from Liberty University. I am also fluent in spoken and written French.

My goal is to meet you wherever you are on your journey, offering a nonjudgmental and compassionate space for growth. I genuinely believe in helping individuals discover and nurture the good within themselves, recognizing that circumstances often shape the choices people make, and sometimes those choices are complex, with no easy answers.

Having traveled and lived in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean, I treasure cultural diversity and believe there is good in everyone. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and the belief that anyone can change if given the opportunity and support. For those seeking a Christian approach, I am credentialed, as a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC),  to integrate a faith-informed perspective that supports spirituality as part of the healing process. Together, we can develop skills, improve relationships, build self-confidence, and create coping strategies to help you navigate tomorrow. It would be an honor to be part of your journey.

In my free time, I find joy in gardening, baking, and listening to country music and jazz—activities that reflect my love for creativity and connection. I spend time watching hockey, soccer, and basketball. I look forward to supporting you on your path to self-discovery and positive change.
