Kimberly (Kim) Maughon,
LPC, NCC, NATC

Hello! I am Kimberly (Kim) Maughon, Licensed Professional Counselor

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals build confidence, heal from past wounds, and embrace who they are—fully and without shame.

Since 2022, I’ve been part of the Creative Touch Counseling Center team, working with clients of all ages as they navigate life’s challenges. In addition to my private practice, I serve as the Peer Support Advocate for Project ReNeWal, a domestic violence program supporting Rockdale, Newton, and Walton counties here in Georgia. I’ve been in this role for over seven years, facilitating weekly support groups and offering trauma-informed care to survivors and their families.

Previously, I also served as the Child Advocate for Project ReNeWal, and I continue to enjoy working with children and families.

My areas of specialty include low self-esteem, trauma, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, and relationships.I am passionate about helping my clients discover their own “normal,” learn to love themselves, and live more empowered, fulfilling lives. Whether you're experiencing overwhelming emotions, relationship issues, or a history of abuse, I strive to provide a safe and supportive space where healing can happen.

In addition to being an LPC, I hold credentials as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Counselor (NATC).

Outside of my work, I’ve been happily married for 31 years and am the proud mom of three adult children and one granddaughter. I’m also a big animal lover with two playful dogs at home.

If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing and self-discovery, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Kimberly is under the direct supervision of Chanel Toson, LPC 010662.
