Charity Stanton, MA
Hello! I am Charity Stanton, MA
Art Therapist
Hey there! My name is Charity, and I am a Masters-level therapist specializing in Art Therapy. This approach blends artmaking with talk therapy, using creative expression to explore emotions, process experiences, and support healing. I believe creativity has many faces, whether it’s through visual art, creative writing, movement, or other expressive forms. Through creative exploration, clients can tap into their inner world, helping them foster healing and self-discovery. I like to work collaboratively with clients to explore the forms of expression that feel most natural and meaningful to them, honoring their unique flow and interests.
Art therapy isn’t just for children or those who consider themselves creative, it’s a powerful tool for individuals of all ages and backgrounds looking to explore! My goal is to create a therapeutic space where clients, regardless of their starting point, can build comfort and confidence in navigating their own path. I take a holistic, person-centered approach—meeting each client where they are and offering unconditional support each step of the way.
My experience includes supporting clients through anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, identity exploration, and major life transitions. At the heart of my work is creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and more connected to themselves.
Charity is under the direct supervision of Chanel Toson, LPC 010662.
